What a fantastic night. Pete, Holly Near, Judy Collins, Janis Ian, Ronnie Gilbert, Odetta, Bernice Johnson Reagon, Bruce Cockburn and others all singing Pete tunes. It was announced the concert was being recorded to be aired on NPR over the July 4th weekend. I kept a set list and could post it here if there is interest.

Hi Terrie, Gene did indeed emcee the show. I want to share what I thought was an amazing moment. After the concert ended and the performers were leaving the stage, someone in the audience began singing Goodnight Irene which was picked up by the entire crowd as they shuffled toward the exits. What better tribute to Pete than to go out singing?

You're right, John... I'm imagining what it felt like to be there, maybe we should start leaving Arlo shows by singing that, or maybe another one of his former signature end of evening songs.

Glad Gene was the emcee... I had a feeling, but forgot to ask him when I spoke with him last week, only called to let him know that my father'd died. We spoke for awhile, he told me about Arlo's multi-colored roach and a few other things, but I forgot to ask him about this particular show. Glad you made it there. See you in a few days.
