I just bought Exploration recently. It is amazing. Just wondering, does anybody else think of Neil Young when they hear Johnny sing. I started listening to the album for the first time and I knew Johnny reminded me of someone but I was't sure who. Than when I got to "Gervais", I knew. I think he has a litle bit of a Neil Young thing going for him.

First time I saw himw ith SarahLee and her dad, I kept thinking, "he reminds me of someone and I don't know who..." and then finally I realized it was Neil Young. I'm not so sure that I "hear" it anymore, tho... maybe I'm just so used to Johnny's voice and style by now.

From the moment I heard him I thought he sounded just like Neil Young only better. I wonder if Neil Young was a big influence on him. His voice to me is smoother than Neils. Johnny sings great!
