I just got my Banjoman CD. I love it. I especially love the sound that Arlo and Jack make singing together.
I'd love to see them tour or record an album together. Or both! I ain't askin' for much...

I was watching Don't Look Back and saw he got a credit but I don't know what a young Banjoman looked like. Was he the big guy on the floor with Donovan and Dylan? I remembered Arlo saying he was a big guy.

In the part where there's a big post-concert party in Dylan's hotel room, Derroll Adams is the guy who Dylan is very pleased to meet. Adams is seated & Dylan is standing. Dylan happily tells Adams that he has both albums that Adams made "with Jack."

that's what i was reckoning. Was Adams into Donovan? He seems a bit rough for Donovan, the young hobo kid superstar.

I bet it was Pennebacker for dramatic effect. My friends told me the movie was boring. I was shocked. And then i realized I was in a different generations mentality towards it.

What was the song Donovan sang? It was a nice ditty.

It's called "To Sing For You." Don't know whether it's available on CD or not. I'm a vinyl collector, who's into CD's only to the extent that I hafta be to keep up with new releases. I found the song on vinyl many years ago on a double-LP compilation called Donovan P. Leitch.

I was lucky enough to catch Jack at the Church last fall. And better still, both Sarah Lee and Arlo sat in with Jack on a few songs. I also would love to see a tour with Arlo & Family with Jack Elliott and even Jack returning to Carnegie Hall at one of Arlo's Thanksgiving Concerts!!
