The new issue is devoted to American music. Besides the obviously necessary article on Woody, there is a nice sidebar article with Arlo listing his favorite protest songs. A very nicely done issue.

excellent article! She really is larger than life..! Her voice sounds basically the same, today, i think, At a Nov. concert, she intrroed her voice coach. When people giggled, at the thought, she giggled too & said, "hey, I need help, to sing like I used to, naturally"
She also did Dylan's 8 minute "Jack of hearts" with a brief intermisssion, in the middle
one song she did, "I am No Mermaid" by a young Irish woman, is spellbinding! Joan's a heroine , of mine
