Arlo Abandons Ship in Sebastian

Hurricane Frances has forced the "Get Stuff" people to close up shop in Sebastian, Florida and move to Tennessee temporarily. If the storm makes landfall at Indian River County, then follows the predicted path NW over Orlando towards NW Florida, it will pass pretty close to our place on Sunday. Maybe I'll try to pluck some of that cool "get stuff" stuff out of the air as it goes swirling past (kind of like the way the folkslinger likes to be downstream when Dylan's writing songs.)

hey mikey, my mom was supposed to fly up to cleveland from delray beach on friday, but the airlines wimped out... so if you see her flyin' in the breeze, point her in the right direction, or maybe just haul her in until Frances has done gone!

I talk to Michael (bus driver) at the show last night. He was worrying about his daughter who lives down there, too. We're also concerned for family down there and hope that mikey's place made it through all right.

So far we haven't heard anything at all from or about Lance's family in the Boynton Beach area, so I guess no news is good news?

Fingers crossed for everyone down there, the TV's been stuck on CNN all weekend.

Just resurfacing after 3-1/2 days without power, water, or phones. Everyone(animals and people alike) at our farm made it through ok, and there is no real damage to the place. A lot of others were not so lucky. Any word on ADG's places and RSR in Sebastian?
