Those are excellent. Who says our schools aren't doing a good job? Looks like protesters have become very good writers. I'm not so sure about #32, though. Do we even know if his Dad loves him now anyway?

If you can make 'em laugh, they'll look again and maybe even think about it--those are great! Trying to choose a favorite is hard, but I think it would be 7. A lot of people, the press foremost, seem to have forgotten he wasn't elected and that would be a good reminder.

Edited to say that it's not as serious, but 9 hits home for me--that drives me NUTS.

I drove into the county seat today and saw flags and yellow ribbons everywhere, the 776th reserves are going away tomorrow morning and the town wanted to give them an early morning parade to send them on their way.
I support our troups and the dangers they must face are real, but I am so uncertain that the causes of the war to come in is Irag, in fact I fear we are being lead the same as the Germans were before the start of World WarII.

Watching this film of snapshots makes me with there was another way. But I think its pretty much a done deal now.

By the way, this link takes you to a page where a "film" will start playing, showing snapshots of the people of Iraq, the people about to have their city leveled. Just looking at these folks, who could and should be friends, affected me more emotionally than all the pundits babble.

Well, maybe...maybe not. I mean..one thing we haven't discussed much is the complete insanity of Saddam Hussein's taking this game of brinksmanship to the point of war. They can't win and regime change will be effected. There's really no question about that and he has to know it. I doubt if the all the people in those pictures really know it, though. If he blinks he's got a good chance of staying where he is. So, I don't know if it's really a done deal or not despite all appearances to the contrary. I guess the next few days will tell a lot.
