Things are going to be getting really bumpy here soon, and it's unlikely I'll be checking back in for some time to come. I'm being forced out onto the street -- it's been coming for a long time, now. No surprises here. However, it's a little unlikely that I'll have a chance to check in. Once I lose the fixed address, I lose all (500 dollars a month of) the government aid, of course, and they don't have much by way of computer lnk-ups out on the street these days, either.

Sorry if it's melodramatic, but when you're dealing with bullies, that's how life can be sometimes.
Take care, all.
Avoid Woodstock if you care about anything or anyone (except money, with no regard to how you get it), is the best advice I can give you.

Muffy, It's hard to know what to say, except to tell you that you are in my heart, and I hope you can find a better place to be.

Best of luck Muffy. Be well, and keep in touch. They do have internet connections at the public library! Use them!

Is there anything I can do to help?

dang, muffy, I'm very sorry to hear about this - hope there's something that can be done - I don't think the streets are any better up there than they are down here. If nothing else, I have a spare bedroom available

let us know...

Muffy, it seems to me that if you have some serious health issues as you have told us, there must be some kind of help available from somewhere. We can't have them throw you out into the street.Let us know what we might do to help, here, or e-mail me if you like.

your disability or bedridden state has me concerned...where will you go? what will you do with your stuff? why would you lose govt money??

i too am homeless..i live here only to help with mike..cindy has no desire to assist or prolong my life..we're just affording him a chance to know his father...soon that will be done and i can chose my mode of transportation.

i am constantly reminded of the begining of willy wonka..the scene where all the old people are all in one room in a bed stacked like cord wood...is this what will happen to us in the blunderite old folkies' home??

perhaps you are stronger than you proclaim..
you seem to be a survivor...a negative survivor like myself,,,but a survivor none the less.

my plan is to go to nyc...build a mansion out of cardboard..stalk robert deniro and get him to buy and produce one of my screen
plays...upgrade the mansion..and when i've had enough, bust a balloon.

i'll meet ya in the park if you care to come.

your friend in service and blunder,
todd

Nope, Todd, totally different image, for Blunderite retirement home......golf cart grand prix, sneakin out behind the Church to have a puff, sit-ins, demanding more wasabi, with the sushi, and oral history sessions, where we can ramble, to kids, about the good old, pre"we can f**king nuke whoever we want to, Texas testosterone bullshit diplomacy" days..
and, the only baloons, will be tie dyed, floating, to celebrate birthdays
sometimes, you have to want to survive, from positive energy, not just as an act of defiance. To survive, not out of polly-anna, blind optimism, but, because you can still reach out and touch others, and make ripples, causing undefined good things, across the pond.
Muffy, keep your head up, get help, don't stop
Todd, go listen to Sarah Lee's cd, for a while..
behave...sheesh!
