We are a thankful lot around here. We thank each other, we thank the Webmaster, and we thank Arlo. All of which is cool. But I want to take today to thank Arlo for something else.

Every turkey day, as I cook, I spin Arlo discs, one after another. I am always amazed by the sheer beauty, and the quality songwriting and musicianship.

So Arlo, today I thank you not for your humanitarian work, not for your spirituality, not your humor, which again is all wonderful. Today I thank you specifically for the incredible musician that you are, and for putting out all those great studio albums, Amigo, Washington, Cowboys, Hobo, Outlasting, Mystic, etc etc.... (Even Son of the Wind, PAT!!) You have given me and my friends countless hours of listening pleasure. In my opinion, your best stuff is rarely played live, due to the time needed for the Massacree and the other "standup" material. You need to spin the records to be continually amazed by the talent and the real gems.

Thanks ADG, for being the best damn singer/songwriter of our day. (sorry bob and JT)

Peace all.

And the movie. My yesterday sucked, but did get a chance to watch the flick (all alone, and uninterupted). First time in about 7 yrs.

*I think I like the movie better than the song? Maybe it's cause I haven't watched it in so long....

**kinda like that Uncle that looks like he's lost weight, untill you figure out. Shit, I just haven't seen him in awhile...<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/eek.gif" width=15 height=15>
