yes, that is tragic day in Belguim.

and another link from that page,

how about the beautiful model who 's urinary tract infection lead to undiagnosed septicemia and now she has had her hands and feet amputated and is barely living on life support, I hope she will make it.

I guess you all know she died of misdiagnosed septicemia caused by P. aureginosa.

I am sorry for the loss of what looked like such a great person, full of life. The web site said the outpouring was incredible. I am sorry for her family and for the people of also sorry for every health professional that touched this tragic path - I know they are each saying, what could I have done differntly that might have saved her life?

My heart goes out to the people who dedicate each day of thier lives to stopping septiciemia. and conquring antibiotic resistant organisms. These are who I am also sad for tonight..and hope this death brings them renewed commitment to the pusuit. Carry on ,make her death count.
