Ok, after he gets out of jail, I'm gunna hafta predict that New York Giant Plaxico Burress will become a Dallas Cowboy! Jerry Jones won't be able to resist. Apologies to my Dallas fan friends.

Perhaps Mr. Burress ought to be pardoned like Mr. Libby.

there is a Dallas and a Dallastown PA, both named after the same Dallas as the Dallas in Texas but without the predilection for what some people call "Manly Footwear". However, when it is cold and snowy here in Dallastown or Dallas PA, and you have on footwear that will reach roches in the corner, you can go cross country skiing without skis.

In Baltimore, a man wearing "Manly Footwear and a Proper Stetson" is probably Queer (Apparantly the term Queer is making a comeback and is accpeted by many members of the previously Gay community...I learned that from my daughter).

And I post this little bit of Pitt decadence in the Sports column as The Steelers are taking on THe Boys this Sunday at 4:30 and I will be cheering The Boys on to a hard fought victory so that MY RAVENS, after beating the Redskins Sunday night (and yes I will be freezing in the stands to cheer them on to victory) will host the Steelers on Dec 7 and beat the crap out of them before traveling to Dallas and beating THe Boys in the last game ever played in Texas Stadium.

That wouldn't be very neighborly? The Boys can win all the games they want except when they play the Ravens, that is the way I see it!

Huh 'but dem Stillers....Sorry about that, Jay and Shelley. And you know, I was going to ask you if you wanted to bet a case of Shinerbock against a case of Iron City.

The Boyz looked like they were freezing out there at the end of the game. It's OK, they're probably gonna all go down the street about a block away from the stadium to Bettis' bar and have a hell of a party.

yeah, it's cold out there, even for football standards. About 12*F and 4*F with the wind, 20 miles south of Pgh. Colder even up at Heinz Field. Went to the Pitt game there last weekend and froze my arse off watching Pitt squeak by my undergraduate alma mater, The University of Southern Pennsylvania, aka West Virginia University. My kid's at Pitt. Who should I cheer for?
