Happy Anniversary and all the best to you. When I read your post I didn't understand the word stubbs, so I was expecting a 30- year old picture of your and your wife on your first date. Good luck for the next 30 some.

This weeks good times train rolls on...a little bragging. This will mean more to old NBA fans...

My wife and I have been on vacation this week. Not traveling, just "chillin" and taking care of the folks. We were awakened by a phone call around 6:30 this morning from an old friend. My friend is an assistant coach for the NBA T-Wolves. They will be playing our local team (Sac Kings) Friday nite. Jerry played for many teams during his playing days. But the best was the '86 Celtics, the team he won a championship with.

I have said before I know I'm a very lucky man. And having a friendship with Jerry is one of the many reasons. He is one of many people I'm lucky to know and get insight into things I would never see without knowing them. The epic stories, conversations, diners, parties, the people we've met, have been a great thing in our lives. Yes I'm lucky in so many ways.

Tonight we will party like the teenagers we were when we first met...

So long for now, and don't get caught overindulging and then stepping over the free-throw line of life.

Have a great time at your party tonight Doug. And you're so right---good friends are among the most precious gifts we receive in life. We've had a really busy week at work, so we're doing our party to celebrate the new, fresh breeze blowing across our land (and planet) on Saturday. We're gonna do some serious guitar-blowin' and harmonica-pickin', bonfiren' and out-cookin' with our precious gifts. GRILL BABY GRILL!!!!!

That is just wonderful!

Happy Anniversary!

I know several people who don't save things like that and sometimes I feel sorry for them. I still own a stuffed puppy that my hubby won for me at a carnival in '82. Ugly lil cheap thing....and I couldn't love it more!
It's not always practical, but I'm a pack rat!

The stubbs look like you bought them yesterday.

Have a blast!!

I'm a saver too. I still have some old clothes from the 70's that are way too small for me but I can't bear to get rid of them cuz they are collectibles now. I also have a cute but worn stuffed dog one of my moms friends gave me for Christmas the yr I was born. I still have him & lvoe him to death. A coupla yrs ago Mike bought me a cute stuffed reindeer that was on sale for $1.50 at a bookstore. I found at one of their other locations the female to go with him. I love thme & my stuffed dog to death. They are almost like family to me...
