I'll try to pipe down for a while now.

The bills were introduced in 2007 and have been in the Senate "Homeland Security" committee since August and October 2007. Most likely they will die there, as most off-the-wall bills (and some good ones) do. Until we hear that they've been referred to the floor, it's not something to get our skirts in a twist about. And if either of them makes it to the floor, we'll hear. Even Faux News wouldn't miss reporting that.
