Yes, I know the curent conflicts are polarizing and I don't/won't talk about them as I've got friends in harms way.

What I would like to do is ask the musicians here to help out the folks in their local Veterans Administration Hospital.

Some of us may have musical instruments gathering dust from lack of use. Others may have moved on to newer models or have been gifted with an instrument they don't have room for.

Well you could sell it and make a few dineros which is fine. I haven't anything against capitalism. Or you could do something a bit more radical.

Donate the extra or unused instrument to your local VA Hospital. Music Therapy is one of the things that is done for the patients and well, hey it can't hurt.

As for myself, well I talked to the folks at the VA Hospital's Volunteer office and they were happy to take some donations. I gave up a old set of Kitchen Pipes (small bagpipes) along with instruction materials for it. Hey I can only play one set at a time and I haven't used them in a while.... So maybe some one else can get some satifaction from them.

Well anyway, it is just an idea I'm throwing out. You don't need to agree or disagree with any politics on the issue, just go with you conscience.
