Hey, I'll never knock Arlo for saying there are only 2 types of People. Those who give a damn, and those who don't.
Well, the 60's are over. We all should have learned by now what is worth a damn, and what ain't. These Days should not be as confusing as the 60's. Right ain't always right, and wrong ain't always wrong.
Because of there being no-one to dictate real truth. I see lots of People who have just lost hope in anything, except for paying the bills, if they have a Job left to do that with.
Hey, since Steve Miller is the Gangster of Love: Lets nominate Steve Space Cowboy Miller to write a new song, "The dictater of truth."
Steve knew something when he sang "Space Cowboy" and what he sang to a child in "Your Saving Grace."-even if Steve didn't write YSG.
Arlo, John Lennon and Space Cowboy Miller, KNEW as much as Jim Morrison did in Riders on the Storm. Maybe, my life calling is just to point that out to some old hippies.
But, I would love to dictate the truth to the next blonde who would write it down. lol (How about you Rosie?)

Leo,

I think times like these are infinitely more confusing than the 60's,...when it was either "america,...love it or leave it" or "make love not war"......like Arlo has said..."most folks today aren't even old enough to rememeber what a movement is" or something like that. I'm encouraged by the young people putting peace stickers on their cars and such. I was checking out the woody guthire web site yesterday. There was this simple profound qoute about how humans are basically "hoping machines"...............it was so real....we are the "coal carriers".. check it out...after all this is Arlo.net.

That Woody Site sounds cool. Thanks.
I love how Arlo says on some CD I have his, "There are 2 types of People... and I've made friends from both sides." Still, I haven't yet made friends out of about 4 of my own Family.-For they are so much behind the Media-Right Storm, which I see as speakin of smaller gov, while braking the Unions, and vote for the Candidate who is against abortions. Those Family Members don't communicate much with me. Not that the other 5 do either. It is not that it pisses me of that all the right care about is abortions. It's that they are basicly anti-union, which if turned around, in itself could make it easier for Families to raise Kids.
It will take the beating of swords into plowshares, by feeding people instead of killing them, to make a real difference in this world.
I still Imagine America building electric Cars we can plug into our Roofs. Which will put this generation of Americans to work. (I'd like some of that work, being an x-union electrician)
Rosie-you could always die you hair. But no one will every replace the Blonde that woke me up to my calling. Right around the time that I started writing on acount of her x almost getting killed. A media-right storm krept into my all time favorite Pool Bar. I didn't attack, the patrons for not caring. But I attacked the gov for what i didn't see comming.

Ah, well ... families. You can't choose your biological family. But you CAN choose to have BlunderFamily--isn't that great!

Hey,
I may not have done the trip Jack Kerouack did with his scoll. But I've been cross country a dozen times. One trip south to Nashville, west to Memphis, and down Route 15 of the River. Missisippi took 8 days, hitching, where I climb into a broken down Mustang. He couldn't drive any more, so I took over without a Driver's Liscence. The Stang broke down when we hit Gulf Port. After a night in jail (The Stang had been reported stolen) after the cop who showed up let me walk down the road for about half and hour. IT took 8 hours to get back just north of Tupelo, where I started. The story of that trip was the Seminloe Indian named Janet. Who the cops there drove off, the next day.
This is my Jack Kerouack rolling type-writter.
But you will have to roll my Famliy's emails, and letters into it.
Good Luck

I hear you Leo....as Arlo said there are people who care on both sides of each issue...but as you correctly point out the hipocracy coming from the right is so thick the fog has blanketed the collective mind of the nation. Even back when Reagan was re-elected I recall thinking that the country was collectively delusional. I sonehow manage to coexist with my right wing DAR toting mother in law. I was encouraged to hear my right wing former CIA employee Aunt criticize "W" recently.....some folks are starting to wake up ! As you often quote scriptually...the first will be the last....and the last the first....and so on.....maybe the fog is beginning to lift........even republicans are turning against the war this week....though it could be just election posturing and not about doing what's right ie: I don't trust 'em.

Hey Kevin Music match is it,
I have a lot to bitch at the Religious Right For. If I could tell anyone in Power on the R. R. it would be except abortions as a Fact of Life. About how I have to except newclear power as one too.-as an X union wirenut, lights must be turned on.
Well, after thinking about this post for a few sipps on my Bud zelx. If the right would give up the abortion issue, I just might give up trying to tell 3/4 of my Family that they have been programed by the slime oozing out of the tv set, which Frank Zappa saw coming way back around 1974.
Personely-I don't want to hear another court case tried on the TV.
I thought Man was given the domian over dogs and other creatures, so I'm upset Michael Vick won't be playing Foot-Ball.
Too much trash too soon is all I can reason from it. Football is a rowdy sport.
good day
