It seems that the rats had enough sense to jump off the sinking ship, maybe now the elephants are getting smart too:

Why aren't there more people out in the streets protesting this despot like they did during Vietnam?

Bush is Nixon without a brain.

As much as I would like to not say this here, this Country looks like the Beast of Daniel 7 who was given authority to rule.
Somehow the indignation will run its course as Daniel 11 says.
The U.N. could bring charges against Blair, Cheney and Bush anytime they want.
I wish if they did, it would mean Capitalism would no-longer run amuck.
We are there in the days the Lamb spoke of when the gospool has been Preached and trampled all over this world.
If 5 billion 700 million said they had had enough, something might change.

Who'd a thunk it? An honest analysis of a recent event! I missed this at the time; probably too wrapped up getting ready for WoodyFest, but I found it tonight through a link on Don Conoscenti's website. His intro is better than anything I could write:

My friend Cindy in Kansas sent this to me and I feel daring enough to pass it along as well. What I like most about it is the level of passion that a newsguy on a large media outlet was willing to let out of the cage on national television (cable). I thought that was a great precedent....it will surely piss off and polarize lots of people, but I believe that getting this kind of debate going in the mainstream/general public is a good part of moving on with our democracy. Make of it what you will:

Keith Olbermann on Scooter Libby's "Do Not Pass 'Go" card.

Thankyou C-Shell,
That was on broadcast TV. I will now give up on cnn and fox and watch msnbc from now on. Who ever that man/broadcaster was, just ripped Bush a new whole.
It reminded me of the email I sent Bush/Cheney about how if John Lennon was alive today, me and John would rain fire down on the White House. Hopefully after THEY had emptied it.
It is time to throw the kings of this earth in jail and use the profits of this Beautiful Planet for the People.-As the end of Isaiah 23 and 24 says, so we can have that big party of Isaiah 25 where the blinders will be taken off of the People.

I'm not sure Nixon had much of a brain, he brought Cheney and Rumsfeld into national politics. At least he knew he was a screw up, Bush actually believes the stuff he thinks. Capitalism unchecked will always run amok. It has no soul. Just like the money changers in the Temple, the business of business is business. What's the chance we can get the billions Leo mentioned to all sing a chorus of Alice's Restaurant.....with feeling !

I'd say the chances were a 6 billion minus the 29% that still support Bush here in America. Well, that would make make the chances 1 to 5.5 billion to one. But corperate america owns the air-waves. Though they don't own the internet yet.
How do you add them odds up?

Leo.......your odds look pretty accurate...but first we need to translate the chorus of "Alices" into every language on earth...get them to learn the melody...and figure a way to coordinate a global sing a long

Well, I'm about ready to make my you toob vedeo about being the real Space Cowboy Steve Miller sang about. Since I found the same new way Steve did it shouldn't be a problem. The problem will be learning how to make the rest of the world understand my chorus of Alice's Restaurant.
I'll be wearing dark sun glasses and a Cowboy Hat from Marlboro so no one will really know who i am.
