Scooter Libby performed a dis-service, got in trouble and recieved a suspended sentence. Somehow that just goes against my sense of fairness especially when two Border Patrol Officers doing thier job get thrown in the slammer with no pretense of executive clemency.

Its the arrogance of the executive branch that goads me. Regardless of party it seems as though the occupiers of the Oval Office feel they are priveledged and above reproach.

I can hardly wait to see what sorts of self destructive actions occur when the real electorial season kicks off later this year. So what types of popcorn will we need for those shows?

yes, Q... i agree... but why not arrogant?.... no one seems to be able/willing to stop them...

after that descent into cynicism.... totally useless... i was uplifted this morning by an interview with Valerie Plame's husband... Former Ambassador Joseph Wilson (i.e. the woman operative that was outed and her husband who was investigating Bush that they were trying to silence)...

for anyone who wants a full history and info on the pending civil suit against Cheney, Rove, Libby, etc. amongst others who are also highly motivated to investigate the possibilities of obstruction of justice in the oval office....
