Look what i found this morning?

I had a dream of God, the almighty God, toiling away in the cosmic workshop. God buried in the drawing for his latest in a series of up dates for planet Earth. He was a bit cranky as sometimes it seems he has spent his entire existence trying to conform to man’s expectations. Man, a snotty little varmint, that always expects him to jump to this or that little trivial matter. There were times when man was entertaining and he used to go in and get involved in the little soap operas on the planet, like when that puffed up Pharaoh proclaimed himself God and herded humans like the beast in the fields and so he took the wind out of that arrogant snit Egyptian King and let the herd loose in the wilderness. It was amusing to transform that rabble of straw stompers into the Chosen Few and let them wander about with a little good food and wilderness freedom until they became the embodiment of Gods goodness and they pleaded with God and said “We the Chosen are tired of migrating, let us have some land”. So God pointed at Canaan and said, “There is some land over yonder, take it and live the good life”.
So God went out on his porch and sat down to a cold beer and the wonders of the universe and he got distracted from it all and started tuning into a little Bach on the cosmic radio, he was partial to that sixteenth century band length with those chorals in the big stone churches, listening to a little Sing to the Lord a New Song, watching the wonders go by in that cosmic place. He was chillin’ when he saw in the distance the Earth rotate by and he thought I will check in on Man. That is when he found David, all puffed up in the image of God but truly only aspiring to be knock off of Pharaoh, playing death games with slaves and concubining their women. God thought, I will show him the true nature of man on his own terms and as David’s sun sat he watched his own son concubine his, the kings women, in an act of proclaiming himself King on the palace roof right there in front of God and everybody. So God took David’s son's life and left him hanging there in the tree…and David saw his own reflection in that tree in the light of the sunset as Solomon laughed from the rooftops, and a doomed temple sprung from the fertile womb of a concubine and the seed of the prodigal king.
God was disgusted by these events and went out to water the garden and see if there were any ripe tomatoes, red peppers and cilantro…sometimes you just feel like a good salsa! He was out on the porch crunching some cosmic corn chips when the Earth rolled by again. God said, “What will I find now?” Sure enough, man had a made a tradition of David and the doomed temple and they were hotter than a bunch of hornets about the Romans and this and that and they had the fat priests in the fancy temples telling the common man “God will send a Messiah with a pocket full of miracles and the sword of righteousness to cut this yoke and unbind our chains, and this Warrior of God will smite these Demons! So God thought about it for a minute, sending a new Joshua/David in with swinging swords and slashing heads and blood flying, I like a good action movie (God said to his self)! Then he thought, naw, been there, and I found the acquisition of Canaan a bit tedious and boring after the first few walls fell down.
So God said, I know, I will give’em their Messiah, but he will be the exact opposite of what they expect. Instead of dazzling them with some revealed virgin birth, I will have some crazy bug eatin’ Holy man in the desert splashing in the water to usher in the “New Dawn”. Instead of trumpeting him in on a heavenly steed with a gold encrusted armament and the big fancy boots, he will be some long haired bearded character on a jack ass in a funky old robe and some pitiful sandals. Instead of a swinging sword of righteousness opening the veins of evil and drowning the sinners in the own wretched excesses, I’ll have him hold up the big cosmic mirror and say have you taken a good look at yourself. He will say stuff like, “You need to love everybody and it is the meek that are strong and powerful and stuff like that!” And God thought, I will give them introspection, I will give Man something to think about! Instead of a warrior, I will give them a mystic who tells them to turn the other cheek when the centurions are kicking the shit out of them and raping their women and burning their farms. He lifted his finger and made it so right before he got distracted by static on the cosmic radio and went to find another station!

psbeaty,
I can tell you are a follower of adg. Like he says, "I wish I didn't have to say so many words, in order of meaning so less."-give or take a word or meaning here or less.
What I ask you all in blunderville right now is this. Is Michael of Daniel 12:1 the child in Revelation 12.
This is a yes or no poll. No more babble-on with this question!
My next question would be, Is America Babble-on of Revelations.Who may be the beast given Authority to rule for times in Daniel 7.
If you psbeaty, don't think those books mean anything, I won't wast my words much longer.

I read a book by someone I forget who it was but I think I bought it for Mike where the guy said the America won't be iun Biblical prophecy. The reason was that most of the Christians were in America & they'd gop to heaven in the end times. It was an interesting book. I read or heard somewhere that the beast might be this computer up in Brussels, Belgioum that has all kinds of info on you...

well Leo its like this

I admire and respect ADG and I consider him an old friend even though over the years when I encountered him personally it was usually just to shake hands and say thanks for coming, I appreciate it!

As far as Michael and Daniel and the Revelation, you got the wrong hombre.

But I got a question, Do you think Ed Wood actually wore womens under garments when he stormed the beach of Tarawa in Grunt Fatigues back in '45?

Oh, it is people like Ann Coulter who think they know that is a big big problem in this land. Lots of their words are based on words written. Oh, but if only those on the R. right understood these words, "If you didn't do it for one of the little ones, you didn't do it for the Lamb."
I may Someday have trouble with my Unitarian Unevesalist veiws, if they on the right continue to babble US with legalistic laws, with not an ounce of compassion in them.
I love adg's words, "Justice is for the faint of heart." and keep wondering why justice is spelt just ice.

Oh Cheryl,
Sadly it looks to me America is the beast given authority to rule for times and such in Daniel 7.
I'm sorry about this too, but the CHURCH itself is the 4th Beast who is far worse than China, Russia and US. Those 10 horns came out of Rome.
Just study your history and you will be alright. Any nut of adg, is a nut of mine.

Larry I have thrown down the wrench in favor of a screwdriver, I am going to play Coyote one more time then I am done (I don't really like it over there, doesn't feel good)!

The DNA sequence of any given organism is a tangible code of collective success since the dawn of that organism’s ability to survive. Survival being defined as the ability to implement the code within the sequence that result in a coordinated set of chemical and physical events that protect the integrity of the code. As the poet says, sooner or later, everything put together must fall apart, and so the survival of the code is dependent on its ability to repair damage or take protection from the “elements” or to manipulate and exploit available resources effectively (note I didn’t say efficiently because there are survival techniques requiring both “philosophies”). I don’t think there is much dispute to the concept that 99.5% of the living forms on this planet are fueled by Manna from heaven (photosynthesis). So the strategy employed by the “code” was to develop ways to use the fuel from heaven as it was made available. Now today, there is a collection of life on the planet that some people would say is here because its predecessors utilized inherent creativity (evolutionists) to manage success and some would say that God was chained to a drawing table making individual blueprints (creationists).

So your question was on the theory of molecular clocks! So the theory goes is that certain sequences and clusters of sequences proved more creative than alternatives and therefore survive to this day. The theory of inherent creation allows for many creative ways to resolve the same “survival situation” and so there are many remnants of successful elements that performed the same function but are distinctly different. So, when you chop up the code of a variety of today’s living organisms and look for cluster patterns and nearest neighbor analysis and all them complicated “data mining” tools that run ad nauseum on computer servers all over the world now you can construct relationship dendrograms. The question then becomes “are these true relationships”? Well you can actually determine the genes the codes represent and do a structure function analysis to determine the “trueness” of these relationships. So, you can always take a closer look if it needs to be done!

You would have thought this debate on inherent creation versus directed creation would have been settled once and for all by the mitochondia/chloroplast endosymbiont data (I would have thought).

When it comes to these great cosmic questions, I am personally more interested in the mystical aspects of Genesis than these mechanical details.

Check this out:

2: And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4: And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

I might be a bit fruity but that sounds like a poetic description of the BIG BANG!

But my favorite, my all time favorite Bible verse, better than any other, reconciles life, the universe, reality, it is so complete so perfect, amazing poetry I say, and so simple and so complete in its description of God as a living force.

Check this out:

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

Then there's the Doctor Strange comics version of Genesis via the 31st Century time traveling magician Sise-Neg (which make more sense to me than a lot of other religio-psycho babble):
