The Moody Blues do have out some spiritual stuff. I missed Coral Ridge Hour this week. Haven't seen it in awhile but I do like the program...

I'm with you Shel, and she needs to write a new book too. I mean the old one should be R rated as far as I'm concerned. And don't get me started on how the women are treated.

Don't take anything Zap just read Revelations and you'll feel like you're on a trip.

OHHHHH Was that a lightening bolt I just heard? ZZZZAAAAPPPPP!!
POOF!!!!! (don't EVER call anyone poof in OZ especially redneck type guys) Oh I think I better go before I get in trouble.
See what reading this thread does to people.

(just funnin' Cheryl, no offence meant)

Cheryl, did you have the sound on when you watched Coral Ridge? Did you actually hear what this guy says? Don't you realize that when these religious charlatans sponsor and promote the election of people like GW and supporting court appointee's that protect us from our freedom and teach their chidren to hate those that are different (the movie Jesus Camp is a real eye opener), don't you realize they are damaging the possibility of a positive peaceful future for the next generation? They are dividing US into red and blue. Or maybe you meant you like it like one of Leo's posts, its a bit confounding like a crossword puzzle you can never figure out but you can't put it away?

Jesus was positive about people and the future, all kind of people but this guy Kennedy is an arrogant paranoid maniac who generates ungodly amounts of propaganda designed to illuminate all who disagree with him (the right way of thinking) as satans minions destroying the purity of the Great American Christian. So, stay tuned as we begin building camps with smoke stacks in Mexico to rid ourselves of these secular humanists, muslims and homosexuals (as the Jews have joined the Catholics as our friends and no longer require this treatment) who plague our pure American Christian essence. And, for Leo, its all right there in the Bible when Joshua invaded the Promised Land God told him to practice total genocide as he marched to glory, horn in hand!

It can't happen here. It can't happen here. It can't happen here.

(Oh but I can't give up on dreams that God gave Man a special purpose)

(Sorry about the passionate on and on about this subject but you see when religious types start loading the boxcars for transport to Mexico to rid the world of this plague of secularism, I am at the top of the list because I vocally disagree with it! I hope you understand! Don't they need a better name for us than secularist though, something that rolls on the tongue, you know the way Juden schwein did last time around).

PSB, To them, "humanist" already fits the bill for "schwein." If you've ever had the term humanist thrown in your face with a snarl, you know what I mean. Funny; to me it's a term denoting intellectual honesty and generosity of spirit (so to speak).

I like Lou Dobbs, but his war on the Mexicans doesn't seem right to me. I wish they could have always easily come here to work. Though I guess NAFTA didn't help them anymore than it did us.
But I think one of Amercia's biggest mistakes is its total support of Israel right or wrong. they are still waiting for the king they killed to come flying out of the sky, like much of the church seems to be doing today too.
And no where in the old testiment does it say the Branch (You should look him up.) come on the skies of heaven, which I say today is the TV!

PS, they's some folks who'll hear what they want to hear and tune everything else out, even the truth and even if the truth bites them on the ass. But you probably already know that. Worse than bangin' yer head against a wall.

Ya Cheryl, the Moody's Blues saw the world as it is. When they sang in Question (Besides why I never got an answer from a lady) "Between the silence of the mountians, and the crashing of the sea. There is a Land I once came from, and she is waiting there for me." Along with saying latter, "A Land that I once knew."
My head has hit a brick wall trying to explain that to Family.

Well, ya know, The "Moodies" also sang, "I'm just a singer in a rock & roll band" in order to try to get the point across that they weren't a bunch of messiahs. Just guys playing music. Listen to that song. There's no hidden message there. It's right out front.
"And if you want the wind of change
To blow about you
And you're the only other person to know, don't tell me
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band."

THe Moody Blues were just trying to keep a job they liked, OK. (playin' guitar beats hard labor). Timothy Leary is Dead, know that your outside the door, looking in?

Sorry, I got goofy earlier but I have been passive all my life about other peoples beliefs and particularly Christianity because that is the society I was raised in but they have real hatred in their eyes and if you look on their websites (I point out Coral Ridge because I particularly distrust Dr Kennedy) they have organized political machines in the halls of Washington and it is time to confront them, their pulpit is always words in the wind, never in a debate, and if you see their people in debate (Delay is a prime example or Santorum) it is obvious how shallow their arguement truly is, hopefully even for those mesmerized by their religious hoo doo voo doo stuff.

9-11 pumped these religious guys up and they were already pretty damn extreme and its time to confront them! There is an election coming soon and look what they did last time around!

Well, the Moody Blues also sing latter in that song, "Something like if you can see just what to do please tell me."
Maybe not all music, but lots of it comes down from above, and expresses the feelings of the masses. It took me a while to understand where the haed bangin stuff comes from. It is expressing the feelings of some pissed off people.-some are pissed off because some of the truths told in this thread are not known.
I've seen the fruits of the church and state in my 49 years of travel and Rock and Roll is my religion. Oh Steve Miller found a new way in space cowboy, and I'd bet alot it was Daniel 8:9-14 where stars and host were dragged out of heaven. But Steve knew better than to reveal it in the 70's.
