I agree that it's very important to think and talk about, and I don't know either (what it will take to fix it). If anybody does, please let me know, and I'll do everything I can. Meanwhile, I think I'm going to start by working hard on fixing myself......

why are you bawling me out?

I don't think you're being bawled out... I think Kevin decided to work on "The little peace inside each one of us"

little peace in there...yes, what i was trying to say back there, in case i didn't do it very well...is that (and i have said it before in so many words) even if religion was zapped into non existence right this minute, i am skeptical that it would fix the problems of the world...i think the problems go beyond the exploits of religion (not to disregard that argument though!)...and that is why i said we hoo-mons could use a little improvement within ourselves and among ourselves

I'm sorry agnes for any confusion. No bawling out of any kind. Wyld said it almost exactly:

I don't think you're being bawled out... I think Kevin decided to work on "The little peace inside each one of us"

Actually, I was talking about "working on the little peace inside of ME!" Until I get my own garden together, I would not be so presumptuous as to work on "us". That's what I was getting at a couple of pages ago, that the USA, with it's history (including now) of more or less constant war, is not in the best position to preach peace to other nations......it's great to preach it, I guess, but it would carry a lot more weight if we started PRACTICING peace. This is where Hope, Change and Obama come in. I think this is what all of us yearn for......agnes wrote:

I think that we are on exactly the same page agnes! Instead of DIG(death in Gaza), we should shout over and over again, PIG(Peace In Gaza). It wouldn't make anything worse for sure......and it even sounds and feels better. It wouldn't hurt to give it a try, you know like "Dream the impossible Dream" or "Give Peace a Chance" or "Imagine......" Peace, Peace, Peace!!!!! Peace in me, Peace in you, Peace in Gaza, Peace for everybody......"Here, There and Everywhere"......Peace, Peace, Peace!!!!! I'm gonna give it a fearless and thorough try, starting with ME!!!!!

i think maybe it is okay too to look at things to try and understand them? (no high horse involved)
maybe that is also a step in a positive direction generally
