I've been hoping for a PA Super Bowl between Philly and Pgh for some years now.

Quite impressed with 37-year-old Curt Warner's performance. And Fitzgerald of course.

I never root for the steelers. steelers fans are horrible in Baltimore! The best fans I have ever run across are Titans fans. You can watch a Titans - Ravens game with them and it is just a good rivalry. Steelers fans get personal and try to start fights and stuff! Eagles fans have a bad rep but I have known them to be pretty fun to watch a game with as well. I never root for the steelers!

I have no rooting interest, but I'm thankful that it's not an Eagles/Steelers matchup. That would have required calling up the National Guard, and they are busy elsewhere.

A commentator on ESPN radio today remarked that if it was Eagles/Steelers, most of the spectators would be 265 lbs, with chest hair, protruding abdomens, and gross tattoos, AND THAT"S JUST THE WIVES!

Hey Mikey, Are you sure you heard that ESPN commentator correctly? I think he was talking about the cheerleaders. Real dolls they are!
And PS, Pgh fans don't need fans from rival teams for that. I've been in the saloon when Steelers fans got in a fight with each other and one minute their on the floor choking each other and the next minute their hugging and kissing each other and making up and the guy who got the best of the other guy offers to buy beer for the both of them and takes off his shirt and wipes the face of the other guy because he's all bloody and he pats him on the back and tells him " You'll be OK, you'll see." I don't know if it's a Pgh thing, but I think it goes something like this: Love thy friends and be willing to expend your plain white T-shirt to clean somebody up if you happen to get into a fight with them and bloody up their face. Geeez!

no, it is just a game! a game I enjoy watching! and, if you have not experienced these things then it probably does not matter at all! I actually like Pittsburgh when it is not freezing there (the kid lives there afterall).

Agnes you can get certified by saying things like "yinz" instead of "you all" or "c'mon youunz guys" or "you jigoff" You already know how to say "huh 'but dem Stillerz?" instead of "How about them Steelers?" PS, alot of that stuff is hot air. I also once saw one Steelers fan threaten to through another Steelers fan off of one of the ramps leading to the upper reaches of Three Rivers Stadium just for trying to cut in a food line. Yoi! Or as Myron Cope would say "Double Yoi!" That's all it is to me also. Just a game. And dont' watch it much on TV, but if I do, many times cut the audio because I usually don't want to hear the comments...or the ads.
