By the way, I used to have long hair, and then for a long time I didn't, but now I have not had a haircut since december. people ask me now" Are you growing your hair? I say " No, it's does that by itself, I just stopped cutting it". I like to be accurate.

Gosh I'd rather walk down Main Street naked than cut my hair off!
I'd feel more naked without my hair than without clothes!

Hair is a very personal thing.

When I have ever said to my Beloved "What do you think about my hair"? He always says "It doesn't matter what I think about it, all that matters is what YOU think about it"

Now just imagine, for example, kd, with long flowing hair, it just wouldn't seem to fit. But if she wanted to grow it well that's her beeswax and no one elses.

If adg wants to shave his head and go sit on a mountain and meditate for the rest of his life so be it, but these things are for him to decide as is for us all.

This may be the most relevant statement I've heard on this entire thread. :)

OK, then, I amend my statement: This is fucking stupid.

And I want to see a recent photo of the cheese reader!

How do you know you really are losing hair and not simply growing more scalp?

My beloved has theorized that micro extraterrestrial ships hover over my head as I sleep and create crop circles on my scalp with their advanced technology. To what end they pursue this endeavor, she has not said. I think they may be harvesting it and converting it into a form energy to power their spacecrafts.

It would seem that Ceashel has obtained even a greater understanding of this thread and an even greater degree of clarity while describing it's importance and relevence. Will you be MY Guru? :D

One of the worst days in my mothering life was seeing my beautiful blonde son come home from camp after he and his friends decided to shave their heads. Luckily, Michael saw him first and called to warn me so I wouldn't faint or kill him or something. And made sure he came in the house wearing a cap. Everyone told me it's not the worst thing he could've done the first time he had parental freedom but for months Michael had to fight with me not to call to have the supervisors arrested or something. Now he hasn't cut it since and a year later he's got some nice curls.

Sure, but you have to go through the Enchilada Trial, as administered by PSB.

As long as there is no rubber glove involved, I'll consider it.
