I think the terrorists are every bit as confused as GW! AS far as what they think of us as a culture (geez I just scared myself?), that is a multi variant question but their outlook i guess depends on the terrorist. You got your religious terrorist and your political terrorists and your radical terrorists and some look at it like this and some look at it like that? I am pretty sure our staying in Iraq is not going to be positive for anybody. Now they will say, the terrorist win and they will take over, again I ask, why don't the good guys ever persist when we are not around? What about the good guy training camps? What happened to all the good guys waiting for us to make it a new dawn for them? I thought it was a secular dispute anyway (secular in Suni versus Shiite versus Kurd not as in Godless Secular Humanist secular).

Bush actually vetoed funding the war, ergo funding (or, as his thinking goes, "supporting") the troops . The troop withdrawal part was non-binding so it didn't really matter. Essentially, he used his veto power like an angry child would because of his own self-centered ego.

By the way, this evening on Public Radio, an expert on terrorist bombings said that before the US invasion/occupation of Iraq there was never, in its entire history, an instance of a terrorist suicide bombing. Way to go Dubya, you a-hole!
