But has anyone actually thanked the house and the senate for allowing all this to occur with out the usual interparty bickering and back biting?

OK aside for & from the politcal slants which shall always be present. Mr Obama's Administration and the U.S. Government does have limits both domesticly and internationally.

Mr. Obama Stupid? Not really but maybe a bit overwhelmed by some events and issues. Just as much as the previous president may of been. The current Gulf of Mexico incident being a slow boil event that will be more devastating than Hurricane Katrina was. Not so much for oil production & use; But in regards to fisheries in the Gulf and along the East Coast plus the added weight of coastal tourism to those regions economies. Yer gonna pay more for sea foods fer sure.

Its too early to talk of accomplishments and failures. Though I'm certain Mr Obama shall have his share of both.

Oddly enough, George W. Bush's biggest accomplishment may be helping to get Obama elected.

Thihs scares me what Obama is doing to VA. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100525/ap_ ... l_virginia

He wants those of us who don't have health insurance to pay a fine. Well, duh the reason we don't have the insurance is we can't afford it and have a pre-existing condition. So we sure can't afford the fine.

Please don't dismiss the lawsuit Obama. If you do then you can pay my fine for not having any.

Cheryl, I believe you are being victimized by propaganda. I'm not 100% clear on your medical coverage situation and how the new law will affect you, but I was under the impression that those who could not afford the health insurance premiums would be subsidized by the government for them. The fine is imposed on people who CAN afford coverage but CHOOSE not to.

Also, those who are currently receiving medical treatment on a "not for fee" basis as you said you are could still do so even if receiving the above subsidy.

If I've got this wrong, please let me know your sources.
