And skewed memory remains a distinct possibility, with the weather that's moving in. Gee, arthritis sure can be a pain in the peduncle sometimes. Y'know?

I remember FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH. When it first came out they used to play it all the time on the radio everyday over & over. I practically knew the chorus bakcwards in my sleep LOL! Funny thing is you never hear it on the radio anymore...

Tuning in a tad late for this one...'The Buffaloe Srpringfield' is one of my favorite bands, that Neil has been in over the yrs. That saying allot, seeing 'Crazy Horse' is great, with, or without Neil!!! Some of my favorite Crazy Horse albums, are ones without Neil....

*Muffy, if you get a chance check out track #4 of Neil's 'Silver & Gold'...Song titled 'Buffaloe Springfield Again'... I recently saw Neil in a live video do a song called "Daddy went walkin" (i think.)

Anyway, the lyrics, apparently about a dying father, were enough to make you burst into tears. Must be on one of his newer albums.

My favorite Neil albums are "Zuma", "Tonights the Night", and "On the Beach".

Icj, yes that's on 'Silver and Gold'...Track #4....Yes, I believe Neil wrote that about his own Dad..(Who is very much alive, none-the-less, getting very old)...The last verse, kinda is spooky a bit...'Some reflection, of how, WHEN his father does meet his maker, the old man will be happier again...For the fact he'll be reunited with his late wife.? That's how I took it..Your right tho...GREAT emotion in that song. It makes me think about my own Dad....

*ON THE BEACH is my ALL time favorite album of Neils...(with the caddalac 1/2 buried in the sand)...It's a hard one to find!!! I'm still lookin...<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/eek.gif" width=15 height=15> Wish me luck! Someday, I'll find it, hopefully with a best buy sticker on it...Critics have that L.P. in the toilet!...lol..

Undoubtably those would be the same critics who trashed "Nashville Skyline" when it first came out? Yeah, I do love it when Dylan writes love songs. When he nails it, he sure nails it. Gene Clark wrote some wonderful ones too, I always thought.

I'll keep an eye out for the Neil Young album for you, Rob. Ya' never know what's going to show up at a yard sale or the library sales. There is a rare, out-of-print album I've spent years looking for myself, so I know the feeling.
