well yeah! i was at the faerie fest yesterday...you know, wandering as i am wont to do...and along the way i notice a ribbon that had been thrown over the branch of a tree some way, and attached to one end of the ribbon near the base of the tree was a giant pickle, right? ...and there was this little kid faerie whose attention was on the pickle, i didn't notice much about the little kid faerie because the dangling pickle seemed curious enough and that is all i remember seeing clearly, but i do remember hearing the little kid say, "i don't want it!"

i don't know what that means

there were all kinds of faeries there though!

That was no ribbon.....it was a branch. You were in the presence of the rare and coveted pickle tree.

It all depends. In years with more rain, they tend to be sweet, in dry years, they tend to be dill. Pickle trees of course thrive best when you water them with vinegar.

i don't know about the pickle, but they had rolled (hemp) pretzels.

i'm supposing they were hand rolled but what do i know?

By the way, many of you may not know about one of Arlo's ancesters and his story, that got confused in the history books. Sir Issac Newton Guthrie was sitting under a pickle tree one day, just minding his own biz and toking on a bowl when he got konked in the noggin by a pickle that fell out of the pickle tree. His first words were " I don't want a pickle", and shortly after that, he invented gravity. The History books got his name wrong, or at least incomplete. Most people don't know this of course, even history teachers. Many decades later, as many of you may know, Arlo tried to somewhat recreate his ancester's gravity experiment by dropping forks and seeing how many fell up and not down.I don't know if a bowl was involved, but I have my suspicions. Results of this experiment ,although somewhat published in a back issue of the RBR, remain unclear.
This ancestral link may also explain Arlo's apparent aversion to pickles, I don't know.
