It's 11PM Christmas night here and it was a nice cool 30C day (that's 84 F)!
That's a nice cool Christmas day for us!

Funny thing about that... I'm on the western side of the Sandias, about 20 miles west of them. But I'm on what we call West Mesa. The eastern side of the mountains get the snow! They can be having major weather problems while it's a balmy 50 degrees on this side. And the mountain is gorgeous with its "dusting" of the white stuff.

Happy happy and Merry merry to all :)

I think most of you have more snow than I do... I'm actually right at the eastern foothills of the Rockies, and most of the Colorado snow falls in the mountains, before it reaches me. We have a dusting of snow - maybe a little more on Friday - and it's about 40 degrees (fahrenheit). Up in Telluride (about 50 miles west of here), they've had about 100 inches of snow (2.5 meters) - which is great for the ski areas.

Stay safe and warm everyone... blunderhugs all around!

BTW - I'm with Guitarman... don't go out and drive in it... take a walk, enjoy the clean crisp air!

And I thought being on such a high altitude at the foot of the Rockies you must be up to your nose in snow. This way it's better for the driving. Stay safe and warm too.

Supposed to be 72 here tomorrow, though it didn't get out of the 30s earlier in the week. But no snow of any color.
