saw a news piece on this group on 60 minutes last evening...
how sad that they are needed, yet how profoundly moving that they exist to provide health care to so many...
most of their support is grassroots.... $5 - $10... if you're moved, well...

I saw a story recently
about CUBAN doctors coming to the USA
to provide medical care to Americans
who have no access to doctors.
Considering that the US has actively
blockaded medicine and medical equipment
from entering Cuba for what, 50 years now?,
I thought that was a whole hat full of irony.

Speaking of medical care ... Michael Moore was/is on Oprah today addressing the health care crisis in America. It was a very good discussion. I'd love to see a song written to address the issue. If anyone can still catch the show, it's very informative.
