Hey. Maybe this has all ready been discussed, and if so, just point me to the thread so I can read the answers.

On September 11, 2001, 19 people got onto planes using aliases. At least 5 were on the Clinton's "CAPS" list - not to be allowed in this country - but had been.

One of those guys had a banking account in his own name, and another had a telephone listed in his own name. (And, apparently these two had a roommate - a known FBI informant.)

That morning, these nineteen men opened the gates of hell.

And the next morning, photographs and biographies of each of the nineteen men were available on every fairsized daily paper in this country. That list has never been changed or updated, I believe.

Question: Who had the file ready to release to the press?

As a father with a son and daughter of potential draft age, I find it appalling that this bill is being slipped through without the knowledge of the citizens of this country. Having lived through one unpopular war, I cannot imagine the absurdity of reinstituting the draft and destroying and wasting young lives to cover the mistakes of President Bush and his administration. His underestimating the resolve of the Iraqis as well as his "WMD" fables are not reason to forcibly shed the blood of our youth.

Today we have a volunteer military of people motivated to serve. I know several members and respect their decision to join. I even admire their decision to enlist. But they made the decision for themselves. They were not shanghaied by members of a "press gang" i.e. the Draft Board.

If the United States were attacked by a miltary force and was actively at war, it would be in everybody's best interest to serve. That is not the case now. This is a political move in order to try and save face on the world stage. I will not allow my children to interrupt and possibly lose their lives in order to pull President Bush's ass out of the fire.

As a representative of the people, I hope you feel the same as I do. If you will not be a representative of my wishes, please let me know,as I will find out anyway, and let me help put in office those that deserve to be there.

When the motorcade stopped, she jumped from her car and ran to the President's limo to advise him that a WTC tower had just been struck by a passenger plane.

Who made the decision that our Commander in Chief should react to this strike... by doing a read along with second graders, and when was this decision made?

I think that this is the problem. I think it is in someone else's hands (not just one person), and I don't think they would hesitate to do something really bad (even on US soil), if they thought it would help them maintain their power.

In the interest of fairness star, I don't recall that this was the actual 'event'. My recollection is that bushie was already in the classroom reading to the kiddies, when he was approached by (not sure who) and told of the first tower being struck... he then paused, and then continued reading to the kiddies. I don't think he was actually put into panic mode until word came of the second tower strike...

In any event, the question really is, at what point did bush realize he had wet his pants????

But when Card whispered to him and got that 'deer in headlights' look we've all seen anytime someone asks a question he's not previously prepared for, the second plane had struck...

If the President was not told by NORAD and the FAA about the planes which had made u-turns, with transponders turned off and not responding to radio - headed toward NY area - before they reached the school, then either

1) Someone(s) screwed up in majorly royal ways - and yet, no one has been fired or reprimanded, or

2) Orders were given to stand down... by someone.

The manager of the hotel where Pres. Bush stayed on 09/10/2001 was taken on a "tour" of the Presidential limo. He was amazed by the number of television sets and radios that fill the thing. There is no way he was 'cut off'.

If our governmental agencies were doing their jobs, he knew... but we can pretend he didn't. <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15> I'm sure that's what he'd prefer.

If we hypothesize that he didn't know a thing until Card leaned over and whispered in his ear, why did the Commander in Chief remain in that classroom until the press was cleared, and then carry the photo op into the library?

Agreed. He certainly has difficulty answering questions. Even when he had them in writing, three days earlier.
