Happy birthday, Judy, Judy, Judy! So glad you could see the folkslinger and his merry band for your birthday weekend! Now get some rest and eat some chonklit--we'll sacrifice and have some in your honor, as well.

Edited to add more hugs and love--there's no limit on either.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Had a great time at the show in Pittsburgh Saturday night with my old friends and their friends, who are now my friends, too. One of their friends just turned 60 and had waited her whole life to see Arlo--her son's middle name is Guthrie, after the Folkslinger. She was counting down the minutes and seconds, and she was not disappointed! She whooped and hollered throughout the show, and I laughed with her. It was a great time. Didn't get to see the Folkslinger afterwards, but got to introduce everyone to Bruce and Killer. And a guy, Jerry, I had met once at the HD walk at least 2 years ago somehow remembered me, even though I didn't remember him, came up to me and told me he did, and even remembered I live on CT and take pictures. Life is full of surprises! Anyhow, it was a great night and a great weekend! I got in late last night, or more accurately, early this morning, because I missed my connecting flight in Philly due to weather, and then the flight they put me on instead, which originated in Jacksonville, was delayed getting to Philly and almost diverted to, of all places, PITTSBURGH, and when I finally got to Providence it was POURING and very windy, and I could hardly see the lane markings on 95, but I made it home around 12:45 AM. It certainly was a memorable way to start off my double nickel birthday!

I think I need some chonklit! I'll be heading to work in a while, but I'll be late!

Well, as some of you already know, my birthday got more interesting than ever this morning. I got laid off from my job of almost 22 years!!! At least I don't have to worry about whether or not that's gonna happen anymore. I am still going out tonight, to celebrate my birthday with friends. And I plan to eat plenty of chonklit! Guess I better go to the store!

Oh NOOOOO...
that stinks! But I'm glad you're still going to be out there celebrating.
Chonklit cures many ills!
Happy Birthday, and know that you are loved!

Happy birthday, Judy! I'm REALLY sorry about you getting laid off on your birthday! What a rotten time to do that!
Go out and have a good time tonight! Many hugs! Sue

Judy, I'm so sorry you got laid off, especially on your birthday... what rotten timing! As Wyld said, chocolate is a great healer.

That's just stinky.

Judy, I know you loved the museum and the job, but my best wish for you is that this will lead to something MUCH BETTER. I truly think it will.

Blunderites, Please Note: We all owe it to Judy to consume mass quantities of chonklit today and tonight--heck; all week--in her honor.
