Thanks! It's a Folk Club night, so I'll go and enjoy tonight with my family and a lot of good friends, and some great folkie entertainment!

It was a family kind of weekend leading up to today...my niece in Minneapolis got married on Saturday, so we (me, Jim, Laura and her boyfriend Mike; Kevin was camping in PA) flew up on Friday morning, had a great time (saw my mom, brother and two sisters, and my brother's kids) and really enjoyed ourselves. Mike made major brownie points with my mom by dancing with her at the wedding.
We got home last night; Jim had been in Germany up until the day before we left for MN, so he's still ever so slightly confused on time.

Someone must have flipped a switch somewhere while we were gone...it was freakin' hot outside when we got home!!

I don't really wanna highjack Sue's birthday thread or nuthin', but I need to correct a misconception. You see they don't actually have gravity in Australia. You can only have gravity in rightside up places. Australian folks as well as Australian animals just happen to have very sticky feet to keep them attached to the planet. (Plants of course have roots.) This is part of the beneficial genetic mutation process that let's life adapt in strange envirornments. This is also why Australians only wash their feet once a week, and then hang around on the ceiling for an hour or so until their sticky glands replenish the needed foot stickum. Many a forgetful Australian has been whisked off into space after a bath. These poor folks in the rightside up parts of the world are assumed to have been abducted by aliens, but Australians know better.

Happy Birthday SUE!!! Im so glad you had a great weekend surrounded by family, and now and evening surrounded by friends and music. That's just great!!! You do so much for so many others...You deserve a special birthday that lasts for days and days!!!
