Hi Everyone,

I have not been posting very much on this forum due to some medical issues I had in the past 8 months. At this moment I am going through some manic depression which all started happening since August when I returned to work after my summer layoff. Suddenly everything just hit me when I was sad and crying alot at home and at work. I have good days and some bad days. I am currently going to a therapist and a psychiatrist every month, I am also taking medication for depression and my moods are progressing slowly but surely. I first started going for help back in November and the psychiatrist told me I am suffering from bipolar disorder, in fact I had this symptom since I was very young I think it had to do with my difficult childhood and financial difficulties I let this emotional problem go for a very long time, I held all of the sadness inside of me. Back in September I went off in a rage at work with someone, came close to an nervous breakdown but I was lucky I did not lose my job.
When I was at the Fall Revival show back in October I was not at my best later on that night I got really depressed, my mind wandered off, I was not focused on Arlo's performance that night. I kept my composure until the end of show and afterwards I almost went into a verge of tears.
I hope this coming Spring and Summer I get to see everyone for the HD Walk and the Summer Revival Shows and hopefully my symptoms will get 100% better. I will try my very best to pop in and post to the forum more often. I'm sorry I missed all of the Birthday wishes and giving blundervibes to those who are in pain and going through difficult times.
I will talk to all of you wonderful blunderbuddies soon :D

Peace and Love,
Lorie

Hey Lorie! I hope you continue to feel better. Just remember Arlo's "The Pause of Mr. Clause". No matter how bad off you are, somebody can say, "Lookit that guy over there!" And it makes you feel better that there's somebody worse off than you. I don't know if it would make me feel better to see somebody worse off than me, but hey, those are Arlo's ideas, not mine!

Just keep it in your head that the world's full of Yins & Yangs and that you'll get through whatever it is that life sends your way. Ya can't make an omelet without breakin' some eggs. Unless you use those fake eggs that come in milk cartons but then you'd have to say, "You can't make an omelet without opening some cartons of those fake eggs!" Don't ask me what the heck that has to do with anything! I had a late gig last night and I'm real sleepy ergo, weirder than my usual self. I think you'll do just fine 'cause, like most of the folks who frequent this site, you're a good egg! I'll stop now before I start exploring the different types of eggs and their applications to personality types! (Told ya I was sleepy!)

Hey kid, it sounds like you know what the problem is, and you know what works to fix it, and you're doing it. Keep it up! And when you say , I'm ok, I'm ok.........drop the question mark and replace it with an exclaimation mark! :D Make it a statement, and not a question!

Thank you all for the wonderful sweet thoughts and kind words. I will try my very best to keep my head held up high and to control the roller coaster ride in my head from not going upward and downwards, to keep the rail straight and level at a steady speed. If not I will lose control and don't want to fall off. I am hanging on to my seat very tight the best I can :)

I am so grateful to have friends on here and at the Church who really care. 8) I feel like I am part of one big family. Thanks so much to all of youse, I am very touched :)

Peace and Love,
Lorie

I mean how could they not? You got Tinkerbell fluttering around right there with her magic wand and fairy dust! :D

We got a Rotweiller named Tinkerbell by the way. No, it wasn't me, it was my daughter that named her. I wonder where she gets it from? :? :)
