Happy Birthday, Bhaklava!

According to my calculations, it is now tomorrow in Istanbul, so Happy Birthday, Bhak! I wrote a little poem in your honor:

Roses are red
Violets are purple
Friendship is sweet
Just like maple syrple.

Or wait! You're 50! Here's another one for you:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
You've been here five decades
Happy Birthday to you!

Should I go on? Maybe....maybe not.....but anyway, Happy Birthday! I miss you! Tell Abdullah and Ali Adem to each give you hugs from me, and you can eat a piece of chonklit cake for me yourself. I will do my best to indulge in one, too. There's a new diner that opened this week, and I'm headed there tomorrow night.....when it will still be your birthday here, but not by you. It wouldn't be a very good diner if it doesn't have chonklit cake.

That's nice and stuff, about the old blunderites walking over the hill.....but if I catch one looking into my window at night, I'm still calling the police! :)

I guess as we get older than dirt (and some dirtier than others!) it's probably gratifying to know that someone still might be sneaking a peek...


of course, it could just be your chonklit cake they are eyeing!!! :roll:
