My friend GiGi, who some of you know about, is posted in Baghdad at the US Embassy. After ducking and covering there since December, she got hit yesterday. She's got a back injury and huge lump on her head. She needs a lot of Blundervibes sent her way.

She appreciates the vibes heading her way. She's in a lot of pain, but hopefully will be ok. She's due here in Istanbul on April 19th for a week of R&R - she'll need it.
She volunteered for the assignment because no one else wanted it, and if there were no volunteers someone would have gotten it assigned to them. She figured it was better that she go since her son is grown and has his own family. She didn't want someone with little kids waiting for them back home to get sent and possibly not come back. Let's hope she's racked up some major good karma points for that.

I wish her all the best and will send lots of positive thoughts towards her healing and to the well-being of all the people who suffer in Irak.
