I had a nice dinner with Judy B. last night. However she asked me (as she is computerless down at her parents house) to let you all know that her sister Nancy, (Yes, the one who has had medical issues and recent scares) was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night for an emergency apendectomy.

Ironically, last Thanksgiving, she was treated and ultimately released on meds for a flare up of appendicitis. I hope to see Judy at NJPAC tomorrow night and will then give all you guys an update.

Judy in her usual upbeat attitude said that the issues that were ruled out in the last weeks, would have been far worse. And with that said - she and her family are grateful that this was at least acute and "fixable".

More prayers just said for her & Judy. Hope things go better for her...

When I saw the title of this thread, I was scared to open it. What a relief! Glad this is a "fixable" problem and she'll be fine really soon.

spoke with judy last night at carnegie, and she said her sister was doing fine, just a litle bit lighter without her appendix to bother her anymore... And she will pass on all the well wishes to Nancy when she next speaks to her.

I'm finally back in Mystic and sitting at my computer, and just want to say thanks for everyone's prayers, vibes, and good wishes for my sister. The news travelled fast. Everybody at the shows I went to this weekend asked me about Nancy, and it was so wonderful to know how much everyone cares. The Blundervine is a wonderful thing! When I spoke to Nancy last night, I told her that word had gotten around and everyone was thinking about her. She thanks you all! It really means a lot to her. There isn't a better bunch of people anywhere!

And thanks for the "sainthood", Arnie! It's a great honor, coming from you. Who needs the pope?! It was so good to finally see you, too!
