I am happy to announce, that after 8 months of mourning and store bought eggs (yuk!), BlunderChooks are GO! It's 5:30 on Wed arvo here and I just brought Daffodil, Endive and Feverfew home, I sang to them all the way. Comin' in to L.A. (just the chicken verse),and Alice's. I left out the es-cape part though (remember what happened when the deceased BChooks heard that part last Thanksgiving!) So once they settle in the reinforced ChookDome I will put my little weed clearin', manure makin', egg layin', girls to work!
Joe you will be happy yo hear that Wheezie and the Chooks will be back in rehearsal real soon!

Well I better go check on 'em so bye for now.

Thta's great news, Louise!

I just tried to compose a song called "Weezy & the Chooks" to the tune of "Bennie & the Jets," but I can only come up with about 8 lines, & 3 of 'em suck. Sorry, I tried....

Would you believe it BroJoe? I've been doing the same thing! I was gonna get you to help me! I thought it would make a good way for you to introduce us as your backup at Woodyfest. "Here they are all the way from DownUnder...." Then you go into the song.

The eggs are appearing finally from the new BlunderChooks (they were 'point of lay' when I bought them so needed time to settle in, I mean they're practically stil babies!) Thanksgiving is looming, nearly time to move The Dome closer to the house as the summer storms are here.
But I'll wait 'til Thanksgiving is over so The BlunderChooks won't get any ideas from Arlo!! Oh and I'll be removing the toilet paper just in case! (remember what happened last year with the deceased BlunderChooks!)
