I'm on vacation and have access to a computer so I thought I'd do something fun for people who like solving cryptic mysteries in the middle of the night when they can't sleep. Maybe this will give your mind a brief break from formulating about how to bring about an impeachment or stuff like that.

So grab that coffee, mead, joint, or whatever takes your fancy...sit back, let your fingrs do the walking and find me!

Clue 1. I'm in the desert in Charlie's Trousers.(If you Google this you will find something about a play which has nothing to do with where I am)

Clue 2. It took me 22 hours (approx) on a train, called the SUNLANDER,to get from Brisane to a North Queensland city on the ocean that starts with the letter T.

Clue 3. I was picked up by car and driven 132 km southwest to a town that used to mine a very valuable substance in it's heyday in the late 1800's. It even had it's own Stock Exchange.

Clue 4. A hill rises 420 feet above the plains. It was at the base of this hill that an Aboriginal boy called Jupiter first discovered this valuable substance in December 1871. The three peaks of this hill dominate the skyline above the town and can be seen from far and wide across the surrounding plains. Early mappers used this hill to CHART the surrounding area. The town name comes from this and was also sometimes known as The TORS.

That's enough clues for now so it's over to you! I'm off to do some vacation stuff!

Have Fun! Weezie.

"At Charters Towers in 1871 an aboriginal stockman named 'Jupiter Mosman' found gold on Christmas Day, his boss and the bosses mates grabbed the claim and the reward for finding the gold. Poor old Jupiter missed out!!"

Does this mean I'm not where I really think I am? (hang on a tick....I better go look out the window........yep I'm still in Charlies Trousers) Hey have I been Astrotravelling without knowing it?? Wonder where I'm going tonight????

Would you believe that I'm going to "The World Theatre" tonight (in this small town I'm in, beautifull stone building from the late 1800's, velvet seats and curtins and stuff, from when it was a rich gold town) to see a movie called "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants!!! Fairdinkum! Would I lie to you!?

Hey Lar... for letting me know where I was when I didn't know where I was I will go see Croc Steve when I get back home (the Zoo is only 15 mins drive from me)and see if he has any Eponymouses I can send to you.
Oh and the latest book on Limberger Cheese reading. (just for a change from Swiss).

Ruthie gets a ticket to Astrotravel to Oz for a dinner out with me for some REAL Aussie food, not that fake stuff that OUTBACK place over there serves up.

Hmmmmmmm I better go to some of those links with photos from The Ranch to see what I was yellin' at Shrub when he drove out the driveway!
