I spoke with George Laye (at the Church) this morning. His Mom passed away early today, in the nursing home in Florida where she had been residing for some time. It was expected, but George is, needless to say, in need of some loving blundervibes.

I don't have any of the details, except that George is going to Florida early on Saturday. When I know anything more, I will pass the information along to you.

I sent an email to him and posted over in the other message boards. Thanks, Wyld, for being so on top of things for us. My heart goes out to him. I know how painful it is no matter how prepared we "think" we are.

Many comforting blundervibes and hugs to George. Even when it's a good thing (unrelieved pain or total loss of quality of life), it's still so very painful to those of us left behind.

Been away for a few days. I am so sorry to hear the news, George. Take care of yourself. Blundervibes for peace and comfort for you. May the love and energy from the other side always be with you.

George, you're in our thoughts and our hearts in this difficult time. I know she will still be with you, but in a different way.

I just had email from George. He said that the funeral service for his mom was beautifully touching. She was put to rest at the same church she was christened in... St. Patrick's in Havre de Grace MD.

Briefly... here is the end of the email I got from George:

...please tell folks how much I appreciate all of the compassion and support I received from everyone and I'll get on that chat thing and write them when I return.....this has been a most difficult time and I appreciate and love you all. God Bless you all, Love George
