The school called an ambulance for emergency transport to the ER. I'm on my way to the hospital right now.... asthma. Please keep him in your prayers. Thanks

In the ER, they gave him IV steroid, several more breathing treatments and decided that since his lungs sound so bad, they had to admit him. I just got home, taking a nap and going back. They have flat-screen TVs and PS2 there! In each pediatric room! So he's having "fun" while sitting in bed on oxygen.

Thanks for the prayers. Have no idea how long they plan to keep him. I'm hoping they keep him for a few days... maybe get the allergist in on consult this time.

Michael called me a little while ago...with his Wendy's order He sounds a little better but had to call the nurse to raise his oxygen a little bit before he called me.

I hope everything goes well for Michael and he's out of hospital very soon,( but not that soon that he's not finished his PS2 game )

Latest update: doc called me about an hour ago after seeing Michael. He's been changed from an "accommodation" to a full admission. Probably has "walking pneumonia" and is starting antibiotics tonight. May be released to me tomorrow night if Michael agrees to allow me to manage his IV. Otherwise, he has to stay in the hospotal until he's well enough for his IV to come out, which usually isn't for at least 3 to 5 days.

Lance is staying overnight, and I'll go back in the morning.
