Prayers needed please!

Hi all,

As you know, I don't really post much these days. But I'm asking for help on this one wherever I can get it....

About a week and a half ago, the doctor found a spot on my dad's lung. The tests came back today, and it is cancer. The good news is that they've caught it very early - his doctor was worried about his emphysema, and insisted on him going for further tests. They caught it much earlier than they usually do.

But, because of his emphysema and heart problems (he had 5-way bypass surgery back in either '99 or '00, I don't remember which,) they have to do some more tests to see if they think he can handle surgery or not. The best would be if he can - they should be able to get it all if so, and it hasn't spread to the lymph nodes or anything.

So, if everyone could say a prayer, or think good thoughts, or whatever it is you personally do, I would greatly appreciate it. The tests to see if he can handle surgery will be next Monday.
