I hear through the grapevine that there's a new song, "Wyldflower of the Berkshires," and another, "Wildflower Honey," that have been played at the Church and might have something to do with someone we all know and love. Woo-hoo!!!!!

Giggle giggle!

The Burns Sisters performed at the Church on Saturday evening... WOW they have such wonderful clear voices and tight harmonies... amazing! They had performed in Okemah, and I fell in love with their music then.

'Wyldflower of the Berkshires' was just a silly little tune that one of the sisters made up, while eating cookies that I had baked. It was one of those marvelous fun moments that I will treasure!

'Wildflower Honey' is a new song they are performing, and it will be on their next album. When they did this song on Saturday(giggling again) Annie Burns said "this next song, we're doing especially for Wyldflower, because it has her name in it"

I had a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see the Burnses again! Check out their music, if you have a chance. They have a website at www.burnssisters.com

The Burns Sisters are great! I love them! How nice to have not one, but two songs, just for you!

AWWW, BIG DEAL!!! There's lotsa songs named after me: "Hey Joe," "Diamond Joe," "Koko Joe," "Cotton-Eyed Joe," "Old Joe Clark," even Dylan's "Joey," to name a few...

Hey, I'm just kidding, Wyld! Congratulations on the songs! I'm sure that's something you'll never forget.

I second what you all say about the Burns Sisters. I saw 'em last Nov., when they were here with Sarah & Johnny & others for the "Ribbon of Highway Endless Skyway" (Woody Guthrie tribute) tour & they were great, as was everybody who performed that night.

And of course if spelling don't count, Wyld also has:
"Wyld Thing" & "Born to Be Wyld"!

how cool, wyld! i'm ashamed to say that the burns sisters are originally from binghamton and i've never seen them. i did notice they're playing a holiday show in endicott (next door to binghamton)...i'm guessing i should really go. if i get a chance to say hi, i'll tell them i know the now famous "wyld". <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>
