First my newly painted, newly renovated bathroom was BRIGHT yellow (instead of the pale lemon-chiffon color I thought it would be)...

Then I got a migraine from working in such a small, bright room...

Fell asleep trying to get rid of the migraine...

Awoke, startled by a slight shaking of the bed...

To be staring into the smiling face of my 20 year old...

Home from college... a surprise!

No, he didn't get kicked out (which was the second thing I said in my sleepy haze)...

I cried, he hugged me... we all laughed, tears of joy!

He has nowhere to sleep tonight, the house is a mess.. furniture, wood scraps, metal scraps, paint cans, brushes... power tools and... well, my house looks like an active construction zone! And I was trying to get it all done before Thanksgiving, when he'd be seeing it for the FIRST time...

Oh well... it's good to have him home for the weekend.

Terrie

Later, downstairs... I showed him the huge collection of CDs I bought at the church 2 weekends ago... and something out of nowhere caused him to say, "Arlo does Dallas."

And, of course, I had to say... Eric, how did YOU know? Huh? Arlo's in Dallas tonight and tomorrow for 2 shows!

Clairvoyant????

Glad someone else's house looks like a tornado hit it. Unfortunately, Kitty, your house WAS hit by a... well, a hurricane.

As for my #1 son, he's been off visiting friends or sleeping. He's also put off seeing a doc for his "cold" that he ended up needing to spend some of his "vacation" here at the doc's office getting an Rx.

Lance and I had so many house-type errands to run, we've hardly seen Eric all weekend. He's leaving around 6 tonight to head back to school <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/frown.gif" width=15 height=15>
