Pam's idea of a chonklit cake quilt really got me thinking. I'd like to put together a quilt that would represent all Blunderites, maybe in time for the Fall Church gigs. I have a few ideas already, but if anyone wants to participate, email me and let me know. If you just want to suggest a theme, or send a piece of fabric that represents something Arlo or something Blunderite, also email me and I will tell you where to send the fabric.

Pat, if it's going to be a quilt of patches, let me know the size, & I'll send one from the kids and I. They both have volunteered at different times and helped me plant stuff around the church.

As some of you may know, I sell and service sewing machines for a living, and I have met many quilters in my line of work. I'm telling you that quilters are an even stranger cult than blunderites are, and believe me, they ARE a cult! Our friend Pat is apparently deeply involved in both of these cults. But, considering all the ramifications of SO, wouldn't the strangeness of one cancel out the strangeness of the other, leaving her more normal than one who is either just a quilter or just a blunderite??? <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/alien1.gif" width=25 height=16>

Nice idea, a Blunderite Quilt. I have an old T shirt with some of the Gang's autograph's on it. I'm not sure it would be heavey enough material Pat? Your welcome to have it if you like tho. Maybe you could synchrinize the names???

I love the idea... are you going to piece together blocks? a "crazy quilt" would definitely be suited to this group!

Hi everyone!
My home computer is down temporarily, so I'm sneaking in a post at work (!) If you want to send fabric, a patch, or something you create, it should measure about 6" x 9", with at least 1/4" on each side for a seam allowance--so that would be about 6 1/2" x 91/2" altogether. If there is a design on it, try to center it as much as possible.
