just a quick note to say i'm not really lost...well, not anymore than usual but just haven't had time to post much. i have been reading though and sending out blundervibes where requested. hope you all got them even though you didn't know they were coming.

mostly what has been keeping us all busy here is jobs and a growing household. i got a new job in april (back into banking)...not what i really wanted, but much better money and it was badly needed. mark finally found a job at about the same time, and tara and her boyfriend, ethan, moved in with us (back home from MA). fortunately, they found jobs, too! it was dicey there for a while...i was the only one working...yikes!

the most exciting news until last...mark and i are going to be grandparents! i guess tara and ethan would say they're going to be parents, but it's the grandparents thing that has me obsessed. <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15> it's all supposed to happen around 9/28 and i've warned tara that she can't be late with this because i have to go to MA in oct! hopefully, the little girl (yes we know what it is) is a blunderite in the making and will understand that she must make her appearance on time so grandma and grandpa can say howdy before we run off to the church gigs. of course, if she is a blunderite in the making she won't understand a plan or anything, so i guess we'll see how it all goes.

anyway...that's where we've been and what we've been doing.

Nothing like all your contemporaries being grandma's to make a person feel old! Congratulations--the grandbaby will keep you young.

I have the very sad job of letting you all know that Juliana has left this world before entering it. Deb wanted you all to know, but isn't quite up to posting it herself yet. It seems that Tara was having some symptoms which wouldn't have been so bad, but they couldn't find the heartbeat and an ultrasound delivered the worst possible news. Tara still has to go to the hospital tomorrow to be induced. I don't have to ask anyone for healing blundervibes for Deb, Mark, Tara, Ethan or for prayers for Juliana. I know you'll be sending them as fast and furious as you can.
