any spare blundervibes out there?

I do know that there are many people out in the world, and even here, that are going through the same thing as myself, but I was hoping that some of the blundervibes that have helped so many others might be able to rub off on me a bit too. Selfish I know. Sorry.

Anyways, I just found out that the job that gives me my health insurance has decided to "restructure" and I am no longer eligible for it. And as unhappy as I am with that, I am one of the luckier ones from the group here. This was a part-time job for me. Unfortunately, many other people in my dept. weren't so lucky and there are now quite a few people who are out of work entirely.

At any rate, I was just hoping that if there were spare blundervibes taking up space in anyone's hearts/minds, that maybe they would be interested in sending them over to the Wisconsin direction.

A huge positive note did come from the day though, and I just have to share!

My grandmother, who will be 92 in May, has been getting quite sick for the last few weeks. She's currently in the hospital and hasn't been doing to well (doctors have been thinking cancer, but didn't want to do anything too invasive to her to find out). So today she had 2 different tests run and there is no cancer! She's now being treated for colitis and doing a ton better tonight.

Thank you for the support. It is a very uneasy time in many aspects in the world right now, but it is a tremendous comfort to be able to come to this place and know that there are so many caring and generous people. Thank you again.

Also, I felt bad I couldn't stay any longer at the blat party on Friday. Is there another one planned anytime for the near future?

Ters, I just got back to the computer after a blunder weekend. You have my sympathy and of course, blundervibes in aid of finding a solution to this new problem. The fact that so many are going through similar things doesn't really help..at least not yet. If it gets to the point where we all rise up as one and demand changes to prevent this kind of situation..then it might help. But anyway..keep us posted and blundervibes coming your way. Wonderful to hear about your grandmother. Hope things continue to be good with her.
