bad news, bad news, come to me where i sleep...

howdy folks.....somehow percy's song just seemed appropriate at the moment...

my mother in law, doris, is in the hospital and not doing too well. the cancer has 'returned' and is in her liver...and it's just a matter of weeks now...

ken is in la and i'm still up in ma..but he's flying up wednesday for what would have been his vacation and we are driving back down south with the 5 cats and the dog at the end of the week.

doris is in good spirits and will be released from the hospital tomorrow to my brother in law's apt with hospice care in place.

she isnt in any pain and we are hoping to take her to see the new harry potter movie with her grandkids next week.

that's the news from here....so blundervibes and some good thoughts would be appreciated all around!

So sorry to hear that, Sherry. Take courage and try to find solace in the fact that you'll have time to tell each other what is in your hearts, a bittersweet time to be together and take strength from that closeness, to find peace with death. I know this. God bless.

you guys are the best! (that would be all y'all are the best..for the southerners in the group!)

thanks for the thoughts, love and support...it helps..but you guys know that already!!!

there really isnt anything to 'report' yet today...ken is at the hospital waiting to bring doris to his brother's...who is waiting at the apt for the hospital bed.

more news when there is some!
