Happy Halloween everyone, do we have any plans.....I wonder if I could trick or treat as a little kid pretending to be a big ugly old man?

It depends on just how much that trick or treater....
is willing to spend!

This year, we're going as the Guthrie's. I'm going dressed up in my Arlo costume, my daughter as Sarah Lee and my son, well.... he was disappointed that we weren't going as the Osbourne's.
But when I told him he could go as Abe, he said "ALL RIGHT!!!"

I'm going as a renaissance serving wench... that's the job my daughter had this past summer...

I'm going as a kindly neighbor who doesn't mind getting up and answering the door every twenty seconds. Believe me, it'll be a stretch.

Halloween is so great, I can be myself and everyone says how great I look....is this a good thing?

Yeah Nate, you can look like yourself <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/pimp.gif" width=22 height=23> and offer little girls candy without getting the looks you get the rest if the year when you do that kinda thing, you old pervert! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gif" width=15 height=15>

We have bears in the neighborhood. I figure if I just leave the candy outside, the bears will keep the kids away, and if not, it will be fun to watch the kids and the bears fight it out over the treats.

i am being the 'mean lady in the haunted house' this year....i have one dog that likes to eat small children, another who will want to go out every other time the door opens and 2 cats that try to sneak out EVERY time the door opens. then there are the other 5 cats to keep an eye on....

i'm shutting all the lights and hiding upstairs in the dark!

on the other hand..i did bake chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and frost them in orange today for the guthrie center community lunch program....

I went to the gallery here and copied a picture of Larry's face, I printed it out and pasted it onto a mask, I tried it on and I looked just like Larry, I went out in public to try it out and three times I was stopped by people and asked "What are you supposed to be, Mr Butthead or something" so it is back to the drawing board once more.

I have been storytelling at bonfires around town this week--one Saturday and one last night. I have my witch scream and my wolf howls down perfect, but my voice is giving out, so I think I may be a mime for halloween! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>
