Miss Em (the Willow) is 15 years old today.

My youngest child fits in my clothes.
The baby of my litter is learning to drive.

The last kid at home, she is rebelling terribly, acting out in spurts of neatness.

She closes her bedroom door, thinking I don't see what's going on in there, but a mother's eyes see all.

My child is cleaning.
Tidying.
Creating order.

The worst punishment I can ever inflict on her is to say,
"Go mess up your room and don't even think about coming out of there till it' totally TRASHED!!!

I sure have enjoyed this strange creature.
She might be tidy, but she means well.
She makes me laugh.
I can overlook her "Order Disorder".

Happy Birthday to Emmalee.
You and me....15 and 51.
Should be a very good year.
Love,
Mom

PS Just for fun I've hidden a sandwich in your room. You have a year to find it.

Happy Birthday Willow! And if you need the number for the Felix Unger Society of America, they are listed in the phone book. The first step on the road to recovery is to admit that you have a problem. Be strong Kitty!

Happy birthday, Miss Em!

Would you consider earning college money by traveling around the country and creating order in old Blunderites' "stuff"?

No? Well, that's okay, it wouldn't last more than a week, anyway.

Have a very happy day!

Just so you know, the Felix Unger Society of America does fund and run The Felix Unger Clinic. It's located right next door to The Betty Ford Clinic. One of the biggest challenges of Felix Unger Clinic staff is to keep their resident patients from picking up all the beer cans and stuff that the people from the Betty Ford Clinic are always throwing out the windows, and onto the grounds of the Felix Unger Clinic. It's a never ending job. It is a tough-love concept at The Felix Unger Clinic. After the first week, they no longer supply the resident patients with coat hangers for their socks. This proves to be where some patients crack and go over the edge. But enough details.....we wouldn't want to scare you away from needed help!!

So, Willow, if one of your siblings has a baby someday, that's gunna make you Auntie Em?? Cool......

(So, Kitty.......are we driving her nuts yet?)

I noticed you're the same age as Mike. Guess that means Mike & I are old enough to have a 15 yr old. Have fun!

Way to go, Em! Just be glad your Mom didn't hide anything in a crockpot in your room. Have a great birthday! Hope to see you soon!

Happy birthday to Willow!

Can I rent her for awhile ... please??? I STILL can't keep my bedroom neat, though it's not the total trash pit it was when I was a teen.

(I've got the cleanest drawers, though--easy to keep organized when hardly anything ever gets put in them.)

A neat-freak, huh? My 16-year-old daughter's room is such a mess, some days I can't even find HER in it!

Actually, one day I peeked in and there she was, sitting at her desk.. typing away... but for the life of me, I couldn't figure out where she'd managed to hide the computer. Oh, yeah, it musta been behind all those tupperware cups of soda and large empty potato chip bags.

She also got her learner's permit back around Easter break, but she "lost" it. Apparently, it was in the pocket of her jeans, and she took off her jeans at school one day to play basketball... then she forgot to put the jeans back on.... and they are gone forever. Don't ask

She finally got a replacement permit yesterday, after being without it for over a month! It'll probably turn up in one of those empty potato chip bags lying on her desk in front of her computer.

Happy birthday, Em.

Terrie

Emmalee couldn't remember her old password and reregistered for a new one.
For some reason she can't seem to get to it to post. We'll figure it out...

Meanwhile, she had a fine birthday with friends and family and variations of such.

I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she said she wants a tongue ring.
I wonder if that comes with a lock.

Emmy says thank you for all your happy birthday wishes and she'll write that herself as soon as she figures out her password.
