happy birthday, arlonet! thanks, dave! if it wasn't for you we'd all be wondering around the internet confused. not that we're NOT confused now, but at least we're all in one space. i have a feeling the rest of the internet is grateful for that.

Wow..happy birthday to ArloNet. I'm going to see if anyone's in blunderchat tonight to celebrate...if I can remember. Anyway..it's a grand old site!

And so the kid did yield to the command of the voice and did build it, and did so on this day five years ago, open its doors so that every man, woman and child from afar and near, from every corner of this earth could come and be able to sit down and blunder and be confused together in peace and harmony, whether it be to sit on the Group W Bench, for as much as the bench could support the weight, or to wander and meander about the site in quest of the available abundant knowledge to be learned about the man who we have all come to know and love as everybody's favorite folkslinger, Arlo Guthrie. And so the kid saw that this was good and called this place, ArloNet.

Happy BD to the very first site I ever went to on the internet. This site is the reason I wanted to get a computer & get on the internet. When Arlo said in 1995 he had a website I just had to go check it out. Been here since 1998 & have learned alot puter & internet wise since then. Took me along time to get a puter & get on here tho. Can't believe I've been on-line since 99. Know what JPEG stand for and how to use it, know how to do just about everything I learned online. Many thanks to Barb Rhuel, and Nathen. And Dave Downin for telling me about jpeg...Cut and paste. somethings are simple, some are still coming, but always take tips from Geeks....Cheaper and more satisfying than a computer course.....
