Sue, I wish you well with your gall bladder surgery.

I'm finally having surgery on my left wrist. One of the carpals has been painful for the past 11 years, I've had an arthrogram, MRI, CT scan, bone scan and countless x-rays. What was finally decided is that it's:

a) calcium deposits adhering to the tendon
b) bone spurs
c) tumor

They'll be going in through the back of the wrist with an arthroscope and then make a decision once they can visualize the bone structures. They'd prefer not to remove the entire pisiform bone but will probably have to remove the outer portion of the lower half of it. I'm nervous but happy to be finally doing something proactive after all these years of tests.

Thanks, everyone, I appreciate the good vibes! I'm looking forward to an end to the constant pain. And the chemically induced smiles and goofyness will probably be the best vacation I'll have all summer. This is supposed to be no big deal, so I'll probably see some of you in a couple of weeks at the upcoming Church gigs! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>sue

I was wonderin' why my butt was getting a sunburn!!!

hey larry! If you find a pitcher of margharitas over by the southern tip of U.S. marker... that's mine, help yourself!

and be sure to sample the frozen key lime pie! to die for on a hot day!!

oh yeah... feel better sue! I've been there, and life is such a pleasure once you recoup from the surgery - which if you're having laproscopic, it is VERY quick and very minimal discomfort.

sherry... still thinkin' about you too!
