You're gunna be back in the saddle soon Bob(aka pops), just watch out for the hospital food until then! (Check the yellow pages for pizza and Chinese delivery)

just back to reality and a computer after vacation and what wonderful news to come home to! glad everything went well, and hope they have the pain meds thing worked out now! much love and hugs to both of you from both of us!

Today ended better than is started out..or at least it was better when I left the hospital. I sure hope it still is. The interesting thing is that a lot of people seemed to be in the same boat today. The nurses were kept busy calling doctors to get the pain meds changed for several different patients on that floor.

So glad it was better tonight. But sorry that Bob and the other patients were "learning experiences" for the medical staff...at least it sounds like that, from our familiy's experience. They don't always "get" what pain is about until you insist. Give 'em hell!

He's home! I got there this morning and he said they were sending him home. The pain meds are working pretty well now, he's improving and doesn't need to be hooked up to everything. Now he just has to recover, which will take a few weeks, I guess. He wants to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and concern. I know they helped us both.

just a quick update...i spoke to bob earlier and he sounds wonderful..and very happy to be home!!!

pat is also enjoying the 'not being in the hospital' part greatly!

so a big what deb said.....YIPPIEEEE!
